You don’t need to be the biggest to be the best …
Founded in 1959 and in continuous operation ever since, VR Engineering (Pty) Ltd innovated the first wholly South African designed and built mobile motivator in 19xx and has an unenviable reputation for the design, manufacture, maintenance, repair, modification, upgrade and refurbishment of Diesel Generator Sets.
Since its founding, over 35,000 generator sets of all capacities and configuration have been produced and sold all over Southern and Central Africa, and the Indian Ocean Islands. Standby Generating Sets such as ‘Old Blue’ with its innovative-for-the-time “AutoCyclic” Control Panel are still in reliable service after 30 years.
VR Engineering Generating Sets are the epitome of the truism; quality remains long after price is forgotten. Generations of Engineers swear by VR Engineering products and service, professional engineers stake their reputation.
Wholey designed and built in South Africa for reliable and dependable service in an extensive range of applications including industry, mining, data centres, telecoms, continuous production and many other mission critical applications.
VRE sets have been specified and have been installed in Government Campuses and (even) Presidential residences.
